Internship Journal: Gabrielle’s Summer at CyberVisionaries Institute
Follow Gabrielle Webster’s weekly internship journey as she builds real-world experience in digital media, content creation, cybersecurity awareness, and mission-driven storytelling.
Meet Gabrielle
Gabrielle Webster is a rising senior at Ocoee High School in Orlando, Florida, with a passion for digital media, entrepreneurship, and content creation. Throughout high school, she has maintained a 4.3 weighted GPA and a 3.8 unweighted GPA while also dual enrolling in digital media courses.
Outside the classroom, Gabrielle is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as a track and field manager. She is especially interested in how storytelling, social platforms, and creative media can help build a brand, connect with an audience, and support future business goals.
At CVI, Gabrielle will spend the summer exploring how digital media can support cybersecurity awareness, community education, and mission-driven storytelling. She will also gain practical skills she can carry into her future as a business owner.
“I want to own my own business one day, and I’m excited to learn how content creation can help me build a brand, connect with people, and grow something meaningful.”
About the Internship
Gabrielle’s internship is a hands-on learning experience connected to CVI’s mission of expanding access to cybersecurity education and career pathways. Throughout the summer, she will support digital media projects for CVI programs, including promotional content, short-form video, social media captions, campaign scheduling, and basic performance reporting.
Through this work, Gabrielle will learn how thoughtful communication can help more people see themselves in cybersecurity.
